HGTV Launching Full-Time on Time Warner Cable's DTV Service on

April 2, 2001

Beginning on April 2, 2001, Home & Garden Television (HGTV), the only network devoted to providing comprehensive information to inspire the home enthusiast, will be available to New Yorkers fulltime on Time Warner Cable's digital television service -- DTV -- channel 131 in Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn.

New Yorkers will now be able to catch the April premieres of exciting new HGTV shows such as "At Home With..." Week, hosted by Joy Philbin and featuring tours of celebrities' homes including Rick Dees, Ivana Trump, Brian Boitano, Jack Hanna, Catherine Crier and Robert Conrad (10:00 PM, Monday-Friday, April 2-6 and 9:00 PM, Sunday, April 8), "The Secret World of Gardens" (8:00 PM, Tuesdays) "Bargain Hunt" (7:30 PM, Saturdays) and "LightHouses" (9:00 PM, Sunday, April 15)
